Calendula officinalis seeds, organic Calendula

Calendula officinalis – Calendula, mixed

This annual prefers warm soil and full sun, and will self-seed quickly. These brilliant orange and yellow flowers can be harvested throughout the season. Sow the seed directly in the garden in the Spring, or grow as a container plant. Thin or transplant 6 to 12 inches apart.

Calendula is a well-known herb and a brightly colored plant that has been used therapeutically, as a dye, and as food for centuries. Most commonly known as for its topical use in salves or infused oil, the bright orange or yellow flower contains many important medicinal qualities and can be eaten in salads or put in herbal teas as well.

50 Seeds (a few extra might have jumped into the packet!)

Seed packets are handmade and measure 2 ¼” x 3 ½”.

These seeds have been organically grown by myself by not using herbicides, pesticides, or chemical treatments of any kind. They are open-pollinated and non-GMO. However, I'm not certified as organic.
