Rosemary – who knew it had so many common names? They include compass plant, compass weed, incensier, dew of the sea, polar plant, romero (Spanish), mi-tieh-hsiang (Chinese), and rosmarin (Swedish).
It prefers zones 6 to 12. This perennial is native to the Mediterranean. Growing conditions are best with well-drained soil and full sun. Grow where winter temperatures do not drop below 10 degrees F.
I use organically grown rosemary from my garden in my Rosemary Tea Tree soap.
